Particular care was taken to preserve the local architectural style, while keeping every loft room comfortable and well-appointed — with a fireplace, private bathroom, and an unusually homey atmosphere.

Beyond Tradition
Lanari is built into a village that has been here for centuries. The stones in the walls were cut from this hillside. The beams came from these forests. It was a guesthouse long before we arrived.

ABOUT LANARI
A Family Affair
Lanari started as a family decision: stay in Livadi, and build something that belonged here. Livadi is an old Vlach mountain village on the slopes of Mt Titaros — Olympus to the east, the Thessalian plain south, the Pierian coast a short drive north. The guesthouse fits into that — not a hotel that arrived, but a house that grew.

The Rooms
Every room has its own name. Choose one of the two Agnantia to watch Mytikas and the Throne of Zeus catch the sunset, or the Archontiko with its handcrafted canopy bed dressed in white embroidery, or the Petrino with the warm hush of a stone-built wall, or the spacious Ontas with its custom furniture that comfortably sleeps a family of four. The wooden ceilings and the furniture are made by hand; the fireplaces draw on the Livadi houses themselves — both manor and folk.
